UDHAMPUR, Jan 6: To assess the ground situation arisen due to incessant rains and landslides, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Syed Khan visited landslide hit areas on National Highway of District Udhampur.
During the visit, the ADC interacted with the stranded passengers and tourists stranded on NH and assured all possible help from the District Administration. Accompanied by Tehsildar Udhampur Amit Verma and other officials, the Additional Deputy Commissioner also inspected the landslide spots on Samroli stretch of national highway, where men and machinery have been pressed in for the clearance of road.
The ADC asked the executing agencies to expedite the work with more reinforcement of the gear up men and machinery to ensure traffic worthy road.
