Jammu, Jan 7: A gram choupal was held under the chairmanship of tehsildar Pargwal Imtiaz Ahmed at panchayat Sarwal wherein officers and officials of different departments participated and interacted with PRI's and general public of the panchayat.
Speaking on the occasion Tehsildar Pargwal impressed upon farmers to take full benefit of the departmental schemes especially related to horticulture and agriculture so that their income can be enhanced. He also assured farmers of conducting such chaupals in every panchayat on regular basis so that the needful services of any department can be provided to the people at their doorstep.
HDO Khour also aware farmers about ongoing schemes of the department and discussed in detail the procedures for framing up of custom hiring centres in the panchayat.
Sarpanch Sarwal Bhopinder Singh also appreciated the efforts of SDM Khour and Tehsildar Pargwal for conducting such a fruitful choupals in his panchyat. Present on the occasion were officials of agriculture deptt, labour deptt,naib sarpanch and panches of the panchayat Sarwal.
