JAMMU, Jan 7: A team of the Crime Branch (CB) was attacked by a family this morning at village Dhaki in Mendhar Sub-Division of Poonch district.
A team of CB along with special operations group (SOG) personnel was attacked with stones, when they reached the residence of Sayed Khan in village Dhaki, Mendhar at around 6:10 am. "Sayed Khan and other members of his family attacked CB's vehicle, resulting severe injuries to one ASI Janteer Singh. The injured cop was shifted to SDH Mendhar", sources said.
"FIR no 8/2021, under section 436, 511, 382 and 147 stands registered at Police Station Mendhar", sources said, adding that no arrest in this case has been made yet. "Investigation into the case has begun by the Mendhar Police", they added. |
