Kavinder distributes Ayushman cards
'Take benefits of pro-people central schemes'

JAMMU, Jan 8: Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta today distributed Golden cards of Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance under National Health Protection Scheme (NHPS) at the winter capital and exhorted the people to take maximum benefits out of several welfare schemes launched by Centre for them.
The Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance will cover over 10 crore poor families (approximately 50 crore beneficiaries) providing coverage up to Rs five lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization in the country.
"For the faster growth of the nation and State in particular, the BJP-led government at the Centre and leadership in the UT is keen for the overall development of J&K which has so far suffered at the hands of the dynasty rulers," he said while speaking at the function in Ward 52 Trikuta Nagar in presence of Vinay Gupta Gupta District President, Ankush Gupta Gen Secy, Neeraj Puri Mandal President, Narinder Koki, Ajay Gupta corporator, Narinder Singh Corporator, Nitin Thappa, Deepu Kumar and Mina Kumari.
Reiterating that the Centre has launched multiple schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP), AB PM-JAY SEHAT scheme, Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, PM-KISAN (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi) Scheme and several others, Gupta exhorted upon the people of Jammu and Kashmir to reap the maximum benefits of these scheme for their overall upliftment.
The senior BJP leader stressed upon the need for the spread of the scheme to the poor masses that can avail benefits of the scheme through implementing agencies and sought active participation of everyone in the implementation of the development and welfare schemes launched by Union Government.
Meanwhile, Rehbar-e-Khel employees also thanked Kavinder Gupta for taking up their issues with central leadership.
A delegation of Rehbar-e-Khel employees called upon the former deputy Chief Minister at Party Headquarters in Jammu this morning and expressed their gratitude for taking up their issues with union minister Anurag Thakur.
