Group of 10 girl students flagged off from Kishtwar to attend Snow Skiing Camp at Gulmarg

KISHTWAR, Jan 9: The 2nd group of 10 girl students was today flagged off by Principal Kishor Kumar, here from GGHSS Kishtwar for attending Snow Skiing Camp at Gulmarg.
The girl students were selected from different zones by the team of experts of the District Youth Services Sports department.
The purpose of the camp is to train the students for National and international level competitions and enable them to test their physical fitness, experience the rich flora & fauna and prepare themselves for the challenges of life.
The Sports Department Kishtwar has made full boarding and lodging facilities arrangements for the visiting students at the venue and in the base camps established by the Department of Youth Services & Sports at Ramban, Banihal & Tangmarg.
Earlier, the Chief Guest Kishor Kumar was given a warm welcome by the students. He advised the students to enjoy the event, follow directions of the guides and Govt. advisory regarding covid-19 and learn skiing with full dedication as these activities greatly help in every field of life.
The Chief Guest also complemented the Sports department Kishtwar for organizing the wonderful events.
The other employees present on the occasion were Ram Saroop, Shahnawaz Qazi,Javed Iqbal Sheikh, Vijay Kumar, Himanshu Sen.
The students under the guidance of Raiz Ahmed & Babita Devi REKs, zealously started their Journey towards the Ist base camp.
