Early Times Report
VIJAYPUR, Jan 9: Apni Party today organized a meeting of active members in Samba district.
The meeting was chaired by former minister and Apni Party Provincial President Manjit Singh in which local issues of public were discussed in detail.
The participants alleged that they were facing problems because of unscheduled power cuts and improper water supply.
They further alleged that the farmers were suffering because of poor response from the department concerned. Besides this, the Apni Party leaders were concerned over the new land laws and toll plazas in Samba district.
After hearing them, Manjit Singh assured that he will raise these issues before the administration for early redressal.
He said that Party has come into being for the unity of people and development of all without discrimination. He said that the new land law has become a serious concern for the people of Jammu region.
"The Govt must protect land and jobs for local residents," the former minister said and again appealed to the people to come forward in support of the Apni Party.
"Without development, education and employment opportunity, society cannot become prosperous. It is imperative for the policy makers to ensure employment of the unemployed youth," said Manjit Singh and appreciated new industrial policy hoping that new avenues will open for the unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
