| District Jammu Wushu championship concludes | | |

Jammu, Jan 10: The District Jammu Wushu Championship concluded at Wushu Hall MA stadium Jammu. 200 Players from different clubs and schools participated in the championship.
Due to COVID-19 ,entry of players were restricted as per the government guidelines.
All divisions of groups fought for their medal i.e sub-junior boys and girls, junior boys and girls and senior boys and girls and Taolu event.
Kuldeep Handoo (Dronacharya Awardee) and brand Ambassdor Fit India Movememt was the chief Guest on the occasion who distributed medals to the winners. He congratulated District Jammu wushu Association , Kamal Kishore General secretary for the wonderful event keeping in view all the guidelines of Government.
Earlier Wushu Association interacted with all the players and all players requested him to take up the government for the setting up National Academy or Centre of excellence for Wushu in the UT J&K. Kuldeep Handoo assured all the players that Wushu Association of India and J&K has already taken up matter with sports Ministry and J&K Sports council for opening of centre of excellence in UT J&K.
