‘Antanavarn’ slated for The Attic on World Theatre Day

Jammu, Jan 10: The play ‘Antanavarn’ written by the celebrated playwright of Jammu Vikram Sharma is once again lined up for a production performance by Robroo New Delhi on March 27, the world theatre day at The Attic , New Delhi.
Kajal Suri, the renowned theater director and drama production officer at All India Radio , New Delhi will be directing the magnum opus along with a team of actors from Jammu and New Delhi both.
It is in place to mention that the said play ‘Antanavarn’ was first performed at National Theatre Festival held in Jammu in October 2019 under the able direction of Sapna Soni for her The Kalakaar’s to a thundering applause from the audience.
The play was later in Feb 2020 once again performed at The Attic , New Delhi directed and acted by Sapna Soni for her Kalakaar wherein Delhi actors Anjali Bansal and Shantanu Saini had performed beautifully.
The play “Antanvaran “ was highly acclaimed by the critics at New Delhi and Jammu and has been performed for three times on the virtual platform under aegis of Robroo, the Delhi based NGO run by Kajal Suri. One of its releases was directed and coordinated by Sapna Soni . ‘Antanavarn was also slated for Shri Ram Centre release on April 7, 2020, but due to Covid-19, it had to be dropped.
Presently, Vikram Sharma’s plays ‘Cactus’ and ‘Kaayar’ are being rehearsed on virtual platforms by Robroo , both likely to be showcased in Jammu and Delhi in the month of March. His play “Karamgati’ is selected for All India Radio release , the date of which will be finalized soon.
The play Antanavarn scheduled for its fourth production at The Attic, New Delhi on March 27 will be directed and coordinated by Kajal Suri and Sapna Soni both and actors will be both from Jammu and New Delhi.
