Mendhar, Jan 10: The road leading to DakBunglow to Gohlad Road in Mendhar area of district Poonch has been in a bad condition for the last several years.
According to the report, there are about Dozens houses in this village DakBungkow to Gohlad road in Mendhar area of Poonch district but the road leading to this village is in such bad condition that people have to face a lot of trouble in reaching the village.
The condition of the road leading to Gohlad village is bad for the last several years and the people have taken up the issue with concerned PWD authorities’ number of time but till date no one has paid attention to this road.
A local resident of the village said,“ We have made the Executive Engineer PWD aware of it urging him to repair the work on it immediately but he did not pay any attention to solve the grave problem despite the fact that this road has become a death trap. Due to the deteriorating condition of the road there are accidents on it and people driving their vehicles on it are facing a nightmarish experience”, he added.
The people of the village Gohlad have appealed to DC Poonch and demanded that the road be repaired as soon as possible, he added.
