Youth Congress lambasts Govt over age bar for JKAS posts 1/10/2021 11:12:55 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 10: J&K Pradesh Youth Congress castigates BJP led government for "playing with the future of youth of Jammu and Kashmir" over the age bar in newly advertised JKAS posts. Jammu&Kashmir Youth Congress President Uday Bhanu Chib criticised the BJP government for "deceiving and playing" with the future of the educated youth of Jammu and Kashmir. In a press statement issued, he said, "The age bar of 32 years on JKAS aspirants is a draconian and a barbaric injustice with the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, this government has resolved to rob everything away from the people of our region. JKPSC advertises such posts after an interval of years together and trying to parody UPSC in such circumstances makes no sense at all, posts are regularly advertised there unlike JKPSC, he asserted. He said primarily the rise of unemployment and now the age bar for the civil Service candidates have irked the educated youth since they have been pushed to official apathy. JKPYC Spokesperson said that the government should immediately re-advertise the posts with adequate age relaxation as was given to the educated youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
