Jammu, Jan 10: Dr Sudhaa Sharma, noted gynaecologist & Dr Annil Mahajan well known physician and Rheumatologist have been awarded with distinct honour of Honorary Professorship of Indian Medical Association (IMA) in the National award ceremony (virtual) of IMA. They are the only doctors from this region to have this distinct honour because of their academic profile.
Dr Mahajan has 135 scientific publications, 13 book chapters, edited 3 books, presented 12 papers, invited guest faculty in 25 National conferences & 24 Zonal and regional conferences. Dr Sudhaa Sharma has nearly 70 scientific publications, 6 book Chapters & edited 2 books, invited guest faculty in about 30 National conferences & 15 Zonal and regional conferences. Both of them have been promoting medical Journalism since 1999 & have been editors-in- chief, associate editors, member editorial and advisory board of many reputed medical journals. In another recent virtual conference of IMA-AMS (Academy of Medical Specialties) .another distinct honour of prestigious Fellowship of IMA-AMS have been awarded to only both of them from this region. |
