JAMMU, Jan 11: Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor, JMC chaired "Housing for All" & "Skill Upgradation & Self Employment" standing committee meetings on 11/01/2021 in the conference hall of JMC.
Councillors Pritam Singh, Surinder Choudhary, Suneet Kumar, Surinder Sharma, Jagdish Kumar, Sharda Kumari, Narotam Sharma Amit Gupta, Satpal Karlupia, Rahul Kumar, Jaideep were present in the "Housing for All" and "Skill Upgradation & Self Employment" standing committee meeting along with the officials from JMC, Housing, DIC and JUDA departments.
Adv. Purnima Sharma, Hon'ble Chairperson of the standing committees directed that a fresh list of beneficiaries should be provided to all the Hon'ble Councillors.
During the meeting Hon'ble members of the standing committee raised mamy issues such as payments of the beneficiaries under PMJAY have not been released, whether state subject is required anymore in PMJAY, many Councillors are unaware about the HIMAYAT Scheme and many more.
