SRO-43 cases of Jal Shakti dept pile up in Nowshera, Executive Engineer says he has lot more to do

SUNDERBANI, Jan 11: The SRO-43 cases are piling up in the Jal Shakti department in this sub-division of the Nowshera division in the Rajouri district with the aggrieved running from pillar to post in this regard but feeling ditched by the concerned officers and officials.
Early Times has learnt from some aggrieved that the officers are not ready to listen to their please despite the fact that they are facing huge problems. These people said that they have been pushed to the wall due to laid-back attitude of the people at helm and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel.
“My father namely Jagdish Chander was an employee of Public Health Engineering (Jal Shakti) at Siote, Sunderbani, Nowhsera division and he passed away in 2019. I completed all the formalities and submitted the file relating to my appointment as an employee in the department on 16-4-2019. Till date my file is gathering dust and no order has been issued,” said Bhushan Kumar, son of Jagdish.
Bhushan said that his file number is 443 adding that he has been visiting the Jal Shakti office at Nowshera on frequent basis with the hope that he would get the appointment order but with no success. He said despite repeated pleas the concerned officers are unmoved and are not ready to issue the appointment order.
Executive Engineer Jal Shakti Nowshera gave a bizarre reply when asked about the delay and said that he has many other things to do. He said that the concerned person should visit his office regularly adding that there is no harm in it.
Chief Engineer, Jal Shakti Jammu Jagdish Bhat said that he would call all the files related to SRO-43 in the next 10-15 days adding that orders would be issued very soon.
