| GDC Sunderbani celebrates National Youth Day | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Jan 12: Government Degree College Sunderbani NCC Unit today organized a function to mark the Youth Day
Around 10 NCC cadets along with students of the college participated in the event.
The event was organised under the supervision of Principal Prof. (Dr) Vandana Gupta. The youth day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda every year in India.
During the programme, the speakers highlighted the preaching and life of the spiritual thinker Swami Vivekananda and his contribution towards society. He laid great emphasis on the uplift of the youth throughout his life.
Prof. Harshal Sharma (CTO NCC Unit) and Dr. Shezad Ahmed delivered lectures and motivated students to choose the path taught by Swami Vivekananda.
Two NCC cadets namely, Nitish Sharma and Sunny Kumar also spoke at the event.
Prof. Beant Singh presented vote of thanks. |
