YCET organizes National Level E-Quiz Competition

JAMMU, Jan 12: The Department of Civil Engineering of Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET), Jammu organizes a national level e-quiz competition on "Basic Structural Analysis and Design of Structures" on 10th Jan., 21. The event was organized to test the knowledge of young engineers in the field, so that they expand beyond the scope of their regular curriculum. The competition was a grand success and attracted large energetic participation of the students. The response was very encouraging and more than 250 students registered from different states and union territories. Out of 250 students, 172 students appeared in the quiz wherein 35 students scored more than 60 percent marks. E-Certificates were awarded to all the participants who scored more than 60 percent marks. The quiz was conducted by Er. Kamal Kishore, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering Department. Prof. (Dr.) A. K.Srivastava, Director, YCET, Er. B.R.Verma, Chief Coordinator and Er. Rajnish Magotra, HoD (Civil Engineering) motivated and encouraged the students. Flanking their support side was Er. Kamal Kishore. The administration and staff of YCET remain in praises for the effort of the Civil Engineering Department and all the participants.
