1/13/2021 10:31:32 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 13: To discuss the teething problems of private schools functioning in rural areas a meeting was organized by Lal Chand Gandotra under the chairmanship of Rameshwar Mengi in the premises of SSK Hr. Sec. School Marh, Jammu.
Members' from different rural areas highlighted their number of problems before the Central Executive Body of JKPSA.
While speaking they said that students in the rural areas are the worse sufferer as comparison to the students who are in urban areas because students in the urban areas have engaged themselves in offline mode to continue their studies by joining tutorials, tuition centers, coaching centers etc.
It will become a big challenge to evolve a concept of team spirit, co-operation, coordination and work culture if the process of teaching will remain on online mode as most of the students in the rural areas belong to the peasantry class.
They also expressed dismay with the closure of schools for more than 10 months and also had shown hapless to run even their family due to non availability of sufficient funds. Keeping all pros and cons in consideration and to bring all private schools out of financial deficit, Ajay Gupta General Secretary on behalf of members appealed to the government for the withdrawal of circular no. 01Edu of 2020 dated 14/05/20 which was issued during lockdown and restoration of order no. 01which was issued on January 28, 2019 by the Committee for Fixation of Fee Structure, of Private Educational Institutions, J&K for the collection of fee by the Private schools.
