JAMMU, Jan 13: Dogra Brahaman Pritinidhi Sabha today celebrated Lohri Festival with enthusiasm and fervor.
In this connection a function was organized in the premises of Brahaman Sabha, Parade, where the office bearers of the Sabha and other social and culture organizations represented on the occasion maintaining social distances and bearing masks.
Havan and Puja was performed chanting with Vedic Mantras by the religious scholars,.Puran Ahuti was given to the bonafire.
Ved Parkash Sharma, President DBPS and Tawi Andolan President Chander Mohan Sharma while speaking on the occasion stressed the need of communal harmony and brotherhood.
Halwa was also distributed on this occasion.
