DSEJ felicitates Kala Utsav toppers of Jammu

JAMMU, Jan 13: A felicitation ceremony was held today in the office of the Chief Education Officer Jammu, wherein Director School Education Jammu, Anuradha Gupta felicitated the toppers of Kala Utsav - 2020 belonging to district Jammu. Congratulating the toppers for their artistic skills, Anuradha Gupta inspired them to further nurture their talent and spread positivity in the world by becoming good citizens and masters in their respective art.
These students will be guided and trained by the Directorate of School Education Jammu for the forthcoming events and every possible help will be provided to supplement their skills, she added.
The toppers were given prizes and certificates of appreciation for their contribution in the Kala Utsav 2020 by the Chief Guest.
The Chief Education Officer Jammu, Vijay Kumar Sharma apprised the gathering about the process of selection of students who emerged as toppers of the district in various categories of Kala Utsav 2020.
Meanwhile, Director School Education and the Chief Education Officer planted a Bottle Palm tree in the premises of the Chief Education Office, to inspire students, staff members and others to plant trees in order to save the planet and make it a healthier place to live.
Vote of thanks was presented by District Education Planning Officer, Balbir Sudan.
