People make donations for Shri Ram temple at Ayodhya

UDHAMPUR, Jan 14: Several people in Udhampur District donated to Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Tirth Kshetra for construction of Shree Ram temple at Ayodhya on the eve of Makar Sankranti .
Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir Nirman Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan Samiti Udhampur District today started door to door campaign to cover all the Hindu households in the District. The Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan which was started today on the eve of Makar Sankranti (14th January) shall continue upto Basant Panchami (16th February). For the smooth conduct of the Abhiyan, ward/village level committees framed all over the District which will cover more than one lakh Hindu households in the specified time frame.
Many awareness activities being launched at village/ward level like Prabhat pheri, Hanuman chalisa, Sunderkand path, Shri Ram Katha, Jhanki, Sri Ram Kirtan etc to create awareness among the people .
Zila Abhiyan Pramukh Radha Krishan said that for nidhi samarpan, the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Tirth Kshetra provided coupons each of Rs 10, Rs 100, Rs 1000 and also receipt for those who contribute more than Rs 2000.
Radha Krishan contributed Rs 51000 to the Trust for construction of Shri Ram Temple Ayodhya. He handed over cheque to Vibhag Pracharak of RSS Kanhaiya Pratap and Nagar Abhiyan Pramukh Rakesh Sharma.
