DDC reviews implementation of Sehat Scheme

UDHAMPUR, Jan 14: The progress under Ayushman Bharat and Sehat Scheme for universal Health coverage in the District was today reviewed by the District Development Commissioner, Dr Piyush Singla here at a meeting of the officers of health department, District manager Common service centres and officers of other allied departments.
Detailed deliberations were held on various issues which includes progress under Ayushman Bharat scheme, beneficiaries registered and golden cards generated, Progress under universal health coverage Sehat scheme, beneficiaries registered and cards generated, Bottlenecks in implementation of Sehat scheme, preparedness for COVID-19 vaccination process etc were discussed in detail.
Earlier, the DDC reviewed the final arrangements for the COVID-19 vaccination process in the District Udhampur.
In this regard, the Chief Medical Officer Udhampur apprised about the preparedness. He said the vaccination will be done at District Hospital & CHC Chenani. He added that 100 people will be vaccinated at District Hospital and Community Health Centre Chenani on daily basis.
The CMO informed that first batch of vaccine has been received, while necessary deployment of staff has also been done. Meeting was apprised that 2 lakhs beneficiaries have been registered so far.
Meanwhile, the modalities for speeding up the registration for SEHAT scheme were discussed in detail. The BMOs were directed to review the progress of the scheme in their respective blocks and also ensure that there is no overcharging for registration.
The CSC Manager was asked to organize training for CSC on Monday where CSC members will be trained to cover all the beneficiaries immediately.
The DDC asked the CSC manager to submit the registration report under SEHAT scheme on daily basis. The CSC manager was asked to ensure functioning of 100 CSC centres in the district.
The DDC directed health and RDD departments to start IEC activities on mission mode for creating massive awareness in the district for speeding up registration.

Dogra; Tehsildar HQ, Aarti; DHO, Dr Mohammad Yaseen; Dy Chief Medical Dr Simmi; CSC manager and other officers/officials of concerned departments were present in the meeting.
