| Hit and Run case solved, one arrested | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 14: Busstand Police today solving a hit and run case has arrested one person. Yesterday an information was received at Police Station Bus stand from reliable sources that one pedestrian namely Shukantla sharma resident of Bhawani nagar Janipur was hit by a motorcycle bearing registration number Jk02AP 1067 from behind. The rider fled away from spot along with vehicle. On the information, a case FIR No. 03/21 U/s 279/337 IPC got registered at Police Station Bus stand. A team led by SHOJ J Bhagat after hectic efforts arrested the accused rider of the vehicle namely Rajat Kumar resident of Sikanderpur Bishnah. On his disclosure, vehicle bearing registration number Jk02AP 1067 was also recovered and seized. Further investigation of the case is going on.
