Now Mehbooba trying to project arrested Parra family as ‘patriotic’

Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 14: As all her threats failed to terrorize investigating agencies, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti now trying to project arrested party leader Wahid Parra as ‘patriotic and nationalist’.
Mehbooba mentioned that Parra’s family was targeted by terrorists due to their pro-India approach.
“Waheed Para’s family would have been especially targeted by militants, for his grandfather is remembered in the village as the man who used to sit outside his house on India’s Independence Day to distribute sweets to all who passed by.”, Mehbooba posted on her social media account to give an impression that Parra’s family is pro-India.
The day Wahid Parra was arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Mehbooba Mufti has been trying to give an impression that her party’s youth wing president is innocent.
Parra was granted bail by the special NIA court on January 9, however, CIK, a counter-intelligence wing of J&K police, rearrested him.
He was produced before court on January 11 and remanded to police custody till January 18.
“After getting bail from NIA Court due to lack of evidence, @parawahid has now been booked under UAPA by CIK on fabricated charges in a terror case yet again.
This is purely political vendetta against PDP for raising our voice against Delhi’s onslaught”, she tweeted.
Mehbooba’s blue-eyed boy Parra was picked by NIA on November 23, 2020 for questioning for his links with terror group Hizbul Mujahideen.
