ADC Rajouri discusses arrangements for holding awareness events

RAJOURI, Jan 15: Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Sher Singh on Friday convened a meeting with the concerned officers to discuss and finalize the arrangements for the activities to be carried out during the Road Safety Awareness month.
The Road Safety month is starting on January 18 and will conclude on February 17,2021. The theme of the road safety month this year is 'Sadak Suraksha-Jeevan Suraksha'.
The meeting was told that a number of activities would be carried out during the month including awareness rallies of students, medical checkup of drivers and cleaners, blood donation camps, symposiums on various topics related to road safety and gifting of helmets etc.
The ADC emphasised on creating mass awareness about the road safety measures and traffic rules and asked the concerned departments to gear up their men and machinery for the events.
The meeting was attended by ADC Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar Behnal, ADC Kalakote, Krishan Lal, ADC Koteranka, Surinder Mohan Sharma, ASP, Liyaqat Chowdhary, ACR, Mohd Ashraf, CEO, Gulzar Hussain, ARTO, Inzar Rana, DHO, Dr.Khalid, ExEn PWD Nowshera, Prem Kapoor, ExEn PMGSY Rajouri, Subash Sharma, ExEn PMGSY Budhal, Abdul Gani besides concerned officers and Paramilitary forces were present during the meeting.
