KISHTWAR, Jan 15: District level Centre for Women, (Mahila Shakti Kendra( today organised awareness programme on Women Centric Schemes, here at AWC Chattar and Poochal A.
The MSK team sensitised the participants about role of Mahila Shakti Kendra which provides one stop convergent support services for empowering rural women with opportunity for skill development, digital literacy, health and nutrition.
The MSK team emphasised on the importance of rural women benefiting from govt schemes which is the main objective of MSK.
The participants were imparted awareness regarding various schemes of Social Welfare, ICDS, Health, Education, JKEDI, Labour and Employment Department, like ladli Beti, Sukanya Samridhi Yojna, PMMVY, JSY, Pension Schemes, Scholarship Schemes, Employment Schemes, Ujjwala Yojna, OSC, Women Helpline and other welfare schemes.
The team also emphasised on the importance of girl education and urged the parents to allow their girls to get proper education, as education is the best way to empower girl child.
Awareness regarding Aadhar making, correction and linking were also provided. |
