CB Jammu gets interim bail applications of accused dismissed

JAMMU, Jan 15: Crime Branch Jammu has strongly contested bail applications of Gandharab Singh and his son Arjun Singh R/O Thanger Puli, By-Pass Channi Himmat, Jammu and got their interim bail applications dismissed in case FIR No. 44/2020 U/S 420, 465, 467, 468, 120-B IPC. The accused are involved in duping Krishan Lal R/o Dhakki Bazar, ward No. 7, Rajouri, A/P Deeli Greater, Jammu of huge sum of money over a piece of land (Plot), falling in Greater Kailash Jammu.
On proving the offence in preliminary verification by Crime Branch Jammu instant case was lodged against both the accused persons. However, the accused approached the Court and got interim bail. The accused were not cooperating in the investigation of the case. On this CB-Jammu vigorously contested the bail applications of the accused in six hearings.
On the basis of preliminary evidence collected against the accused and put up before the Court, the custody of the accused was sought for custodial interrogation and for effecting recovery from the accused. The Court cancelled the interim bail of the accused and allowed CB-Jammu to go ahead with arrest of the accused persons for further investigation of the case.
