JAMMU, Jan 15: Law Department today issued order of appointment of 17 Sub-Judges as District & Sessions Judges.
According to the order issued by Law Secretary Achal Sethi that as recommended by the High Court, sanction, in terms of rule 20 of the Jammu and Kashmir Higher Judicial Service Rules 2009, is accorded to the ad-hoc appointment of the following Sub Judges as District Judges are Abdul Nasir presently posted as Secretary,J&K High Court Legal Services Committee, Surinder Singh CJM Sopore, Javid Ahmed Gilani CJM Handwara, Mohammad Amin Mir CJM Budgam, Ajay Kumar Gupta CJM Jammu, Sudhir Kumar Khajuria CJM Kishtwar, Om Prakash Thakur CJM Rajouri, Gowher Majid Dalal CJM Srinagar, Javed Alam Sub-Judge Kupwara, Mehraj-ud-Din Sofi Joint Registrar Judicial Srinagar, Surjeet Singh Bali Sub Judge/Spl. Mobile Magistrate, Jammu, Om Prakash Bhagat Municipal Magistrate, Jammu, Manjeet Singh Manhas Chief Judicial Magistrate, Doda, Naushad Ahmed Khan Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Jammu, Som Lal Chief Judicial Magistrate, Poonch, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat CJM, Pulwama and Pradeep Kumar Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ramban.
