Div Com Jammu reviews arrangements for All India Mushaira, Kavi Sammelan

JAMMU, Jan 16: Divisional Commissioner, Sanjeev Verma, today reviewed the arrangements for smooth conduct of All India Urdu Mushaira and Hindi Kavi Sammelan, here at a meeting of concerned officers.
The all India Mushaira and Kavi Sammalen are being organised on January 27 and 28 here at General Zorawar Singh Auditorum, Jammu University.
The Divisional Commissioner reviewed the arrangements being put in place by various concerned departments for smooth conduct of the event.
The meeting was attended by Secretary, Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Muneer Ul Islam; Director Floriculture, K S Chib; SSP Security, Swarn Singh; ADC Jammu, Gansham Singh; Joint Director Information, Namrita Dogra; Joint Director Hospitality and Protocol, Ansuya Jamwal; Joint Director Tourism, Neelam Khajuria, Head of Departments Urdu and Hindi besides senior officers of JMC, Police, Traffic and other concerned.
The meeting had threadbare discussions on various important arrangements including printing of invitation cards, accommodation for poets, transportation and publicity of the event.
The Divisional Commissioner stressed upon all the concerned officers to work in close coordination and complete all necessary arrangements well in time for smooth conduct of All India Mushaira and Kavi Sammelan.
While giving details of the event, the Secretary Academy of Art Culture and Languages informed that renowned poets from all over India including, 24 of national and international fame, besides locals would participate in the event. The event is expected to be attended by Lieutenant Governor, besides prominent writers, scholars and prominent civil society members.
The Divisional Commissioner directed the concerned departments to go for a wide publicity of the event.
