RAMBAN, Jan 16: Deputy Commissioner (DC), Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan today inaugurated the Covid-19 vaccination (Covishield) drive at District Hospital (DH), Ramban.
Akeel Ahmed, Pharmacist (NHM) was the first beneficiary of the Covishield vaccine at the District Hospital,Ramban today.
CMO Ramban, Dr. Mohd Fareed Bhat, Additional SP, Rajni Sharma, Dy. CMO, Dr. Mohd Iqbal Bhat, MS DH Ramban Dr.Vinod Sharma, District Nodal Officer ISM, District Immunization Officer and other Health Officers/Officials were present on the occasion.
The programme was commenced with PM speech online screened at DH Ramban for the beneficiaries and participants.
DC informed that a total 118 cold chain vaccination centers have been established across the district to vaccinate the health and frontline workers, besides the general public as per schedule.
While speaking to DC Akeel said he is alright after the vaccination and advised all to get them vaccinated without any hesitation.
In first face 200 beneficiaries of Health Care Workers and Front Line workers shall be Vaccinated upto 3:30 pm today.
Similarly, the CMO opened the vaccination drive at the Community Health Centre in Batote. |
