Amandeep XI Amritsar defeats Vishal XI Jammu, clinches series by 2-1

Jammu, Jan.16: Amandeep Cricket Academy defeated Vishal Cricket Club Jammu by 3 wickets in the last & third match of the Friendship Cricket Series for under-19 and clinched the series by 2-1 at Amandeep Cricket Academy Amritsar.
Batting First Vishal Cricket Club scored 189 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 30 overs. From Vishal Cricket Club Kanhiya Wadhwan 67 runs, Rohan Gill 67 runs and Arnav 16 runs were the main scorers. From the bowling side Jaideep Singh took 3 wickets, Garv, Gurteg Singh, Ajay and Prabal took 1 wickets each for Amandeep Academy team.
In reply Amandeep Cricket Academy chased the target in 28.5 overs by losing 7 wickets thus won the match by 3 wickets. Parth 88 runs, Arsh 40, Gurteg 40 and Prabjot 22 were the contributors of Amandeep Academy.
From Vishal Club Sachin Sharma took 3 wickets, Aqib took 2 wickets, Abay Tondon and kartik took 1 wickets each.
Parth was declared as man of the match in final match, Jaideep Singh from Amandeep Academy was declared best Batsman whereas Kanhiya Wadhwan and Kartik Mehra of Vishal Club Jammu were declared as Man of the Series and best bowler.
The match was officiated by Twinkle, karan and Raj.
Madan Mohan was accompanied the Vishal Club team as a coach.
During the Valediction function of the Series, Manish Sharma India-A players was the Chief Guest while Rajesh Gill member Indian Cricket Association and Former Ranji Player was the Guest of honour. Chief Guest Manish Sharma while speaking on the occasion appreciated the Jammu Vishal Club team for showing professional cricketing skills in batting, bowling and fielding during the series. He further said that all the Jammu players are very talented, good approach towards the game and can play a big cricket. He also advised them to work hard and to remove their little mistakes in net practices.
