Jammu, Jan 16: Vishwakarma Sabha elections schedule has been released as per the procedure and methods laid down in the Sabha constitution
The Election Committee is headed by Advocate Amarjeet Chargotra, Grievance Board is headed by Puran Chargotra to listen the complaints.
The Schedule of election is that voting right has been given to pradesh body ( max 51 members), district body (max 35 members) and unit body (max 8 members) besides some patrons/senior citizens who wish to participate.
Any Bonafide member of PVS with recommendation of any unit head or member/s can contest. Voters list shall be published by 20 January 2021 and nominations shall be accepted upto 24 January 2021. Polling shall be on 14 February 2021.
A member can contest for one of the post i.e president or gen secretary. Om Parkash Kataria shall be the observer above all.

All units/ District bodies of J&K UT are requested to send the list of their executive body members (maximum eight members) and district body members (maximum thirty five) latest by 19-01-2021 otherwise, existing list of members shall be treated as final. The membership fee of Rs 20 shall be collected at the time of voting. |
