Another Kashmiri politician to send his kid abroad for studies

Jammu, Jan 16: Even as the politicians of Kashmir are often accused of sending their own wards for studies abroad while making the common people suffer in the name of so called “Kashmir issue”, yet another politician is going the same way.
Sources said a politician, who is a separatist turned mainstream leader, who lives in Srinagar and has remained a minister in the past, is sending his son for studies abroad.
It was reliably learnt that the said politician had also done his higher studies from abroad, from England, and wants his son to follow the same.
Sources said the politician thinks that the future of his son would be brighter if he studies abroad and thus the family members are looking for avenues to do the same.
Source said the said politician has been in touch with educational institutions abroad and has been discussing with his family as to which place would be perfect to send their ward for further studies.
Sources said the family was yet to finalize as to where the kid should be send for further studies.
Sources said the ward of the said leader had already been studying outside Kashmir, elsewhere in India, but that now the family wants to send him outside the country.
It is pertinent to mention that kids of most of politicians from Kashmir especially those from separatist quarters are studying abroad.
From separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani’s granddaughter to daughter of Shabir Shah, many such wards are studying abroad.
While Geelani’s granddaughter studies in Turkey, Shabir Shah’s daughter studies in England.
Children of several other Kashmiri leaders including Hashim Qureshi’s son Junaid Qureshi also live abroad.
The Kashmiri leadership has often been accused of making children of common people suffer in the name of so called Kashmir cause but while keeping their own kids safe.
Despite repeated attempts the said leader was not available for comments.
