Act against rumour mongers

As the drive to administer COVID-19 vaccines has commenced in Jammu and Kashmir, the rumour mongering has picked up.
Miscreants are spreading lies about the efficacy of these protective shields and are trying to create a confusion among the people.
Even Lt Governor Manoj Sinha has cautioned people against rumour mongers spreading lies about the vaccine. He asked people not to pay any heed towards the rumours and allow the administration to do its work.
The arrival of vaccines has ended the fear of pandemic and this shield will reach everywhere in the coming days. Life is all set to become normal again. But a few pessimistic people are deriving sadistic pleasure by spreading rumours that the vaccines are unsafe. These elements want confusion and fear to prevail just for the sake of it.
The Jammu and Kashmir administration has fixed the target to administer five lakh vaccines in a day and within a span of 2 to 3 months the shields will be administered to the entire population.
The tough days are over and a new dawn has already broken out. The world has started moving again and it will gather the momentum in days to come.
A small virus has taken all the countries across the globe as hostage but the crisis is all set to be over. As the pandemic is about to end, we should not forget the COVID-19 warriors who put their lives at stake to save precious lives and worked 24x7 to serve the humanity.
When the virus appeared, medicos had no idea about how to fight it out despite that they didn’t give up and succeeded in saving many lives. Had they shrieked work, the casualties could have been higher.
Now, the vaccine has come and it has been approved by all the quarters. We need to be patient and trust the researchers and other experts who have put in their heart and soul to find the cure. The experts are of the opinion that there could be some mild side effects but the vaccine is safe and will act as a shield against the virus that has wreaked havoc across the globe.
The government needs to act against the people who are spreading rumours and misinformation against the efficacy of the vaccine to avoid the confusion.
Such miscreants need to be booked to ensure that immunization drive moves smoothly.
