Jammu Sanskriti School conducts virtual road safety awareness programme

Jammu, Jan 19: Road crashes are the biggest killer of young people worldwide which calls for creating awareness in preventing road casualties and enabling children, families and everyone to use roads without being endangered.
With this intend, Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu organized guest lecture on Road Safety Awareness which was delivered by Shiv Kumar Sharma : SSP Traffic , Jammu.
The session commenced with welcome address by Rohini Aima; principal cum vice-chairperson of the school who conveyed her gratitude to SSP Traffic. She also stated that in Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu they ensure everything that caters to well being of children and catalysis their confidence and growth.
Shiv Kumar Sharma asserted taking in part or organising a Road Safety Week is a great way to educate children, young people and parents about the dangers on roads, how we can all take steps to be safer, and how adults can better protect children. It can make a huge difference to children’s lives and help to prevent deaths and injuries. The session was interactive as Sanskritians raised many questions related to aforementioned which were very well justified by Mr Shiv Kumar Sharma.
The session concluded with the words of thanks by Principal of the school who appreciated the initiative taken by children and faculty about road safety norms
