Jammu, Jan 19: Nami Dogri Sanstha (NDS) organised an "e-Dogri Kavi Goshthi" wherein twenty Dogri poets participated.
The goshthi was planned by Capt Lalit Sharma Convener NDS , supervised by Harish Kaila President NDS and was compered by Yash Pal Yash general secretary of the Sanstha, who also critically evaluated and commented upon each poetic item read .
Yogaacharya SK Jain a hindi and Dogri writer and poet presided over the "Literary Meet".
The poets covered varied range of themes like environment, social evils, romance , human relation ships, ongoing kissan angdolan and the moral values.
SK Jain said that poetry is finest and penetrating literary expression where you convey volumes in few words. He complimented NDS for persistent literary endeavours. Capt Lalit Sharma said that literature , art and culture makes the societies vibrant , aware and responsible and literary organisations play a pivotal role in this regard.
Harish Kaila while extending vote of thanks said that NDS is trying to do it's best for the cause of Dogri language and culture with in resources and capabilities at its command .
Those who Participated include B.S.Jamwal, Tarsem Mahajan, Sudershan Kumari, Arun Sharma Banathia, Ram Paul Dogra, Jatinder Jolly, Kalpana Gupta Rattan, Shambu Ram Pyasa, Neelam Sharma, Randhir Singh Raipuria, Dr.Adarsh Malhotra, Kusum Sharma "Antra", Deepak Dutta, Sunaina Kaila, Neelam Verma Mahotra, Dr.Vijay Puri, Tawishi Puri Kamdar, Dr.Poonam Sharma, Rattan Doshi and a Geet of Late Shri Hem Raj Thappa was sung and presented by Suraj Singh an eminent singer. Those who appreciated and offered their valuable comments comprised Prof.Anupama Sharma patron Youth Wing NDS ,Nidhi Kaila Choudhary president NDS and many others.
