Inflation, farm laws slap on face of common man: OBC Deptt PCC
1/19/2021 10:53:09 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Jan 19: OBC Department Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) protested against Modi led Government for price hike and to press for the demand of withdrawing farm laws.
The protest was headed by the Chairman of the Wing, Adv Suresh Kumar Dogra, who said that the Modi led Government is responsible for the rapid increase in prices which are causing anxiety amongst the common people of India.
“Prices of everything is sky rocketing, even of the essential commodities like gas, pulses, sugar, edible oils, tea, food grains, fuel are beyond the reach of the common man while the Government has no control on it,” he said.
He said that it's a big slap on the face of the poor, adding that when the price of the crude oil in international market is very low and Indian Government can afford the price of the petrol and diesel on low rates then why the present Government is not providing them on fair prices of the same?
He further added that the farmers of the nation are also crying in bloody tears and demanding for the roll back of the three black farm laws implemented against their wishes.
He said that while the Modi led Government has failed in every sphere, it is only famous for its tall claims.
The protesters raised the slogans against the government by holding placards. The others who participated in the protest included Vijay Verma (Gen Secy, OBC Deptt PCC) Som Raj Verma (Secy OBC Deptt PCC) Abhishek Kumar (Media Coordinator) Jagdish Kashyap (District Chairman Rural) Raj Kumar Mehra (Distt Chairman Urban) Surjit Kumar, Raju and others.
