DC visits DH Ramban, reviews health care facilities

RAMBAN, Jan , 19: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam today inspected the District Hospital Ramban to review healthcare facilities being extended to patients especially in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic besides checking punctuality of doctors and paramedical staff in the health institution.
CMO apprised the Deputy Commissioner about staff position and machinery available at District Hospital (DH) Ramban for the treatment of patients.
DC also inspected the Trauma Centre and ongoing construction work on Eye Block and doctor’s residential quarters. He sought a physical and financial report of ongoing works from the executing agencies.
The DC reviewed the sanitation condition, stock position of medicines and other equipments. He directed the CMO to ensure cleanliness of the hospital for the convenience of patients and strict adherence to social distance norms.
DC also interacted with the patients and attendants and enquired about the facilities being extended to them by the hospital. He directed the CMO to ensure a duty roster of doctors and paramedical staff on notice board besides displaying the stock position of medicines and other available facilities.
CMO was directed to submit a list of required items and issues for its redressal to improve healthcare facilities in DH besides issuing a token to all their employees to regulate the parking in the premises of hospital.
Later, DC visited the Government Higher Secondary School Ramban and took the stock of winter classes organized by the School Education department for the 11th and 12th classes in all available subjects.
DC directed the principal of the school to ensure functioning of ICT lab so that students can avail the benefit from high-tech classroom to improve their level of study. He also directed the school staff to ensure sanitation of the institution.
Earlier DC inspected the offices in the administrative complex and directed the officers and officials to ensure sanitation in their offices.
