Dharmarth Trust employees’ secretariat march foiled
Asks Trust management to clear stand on scams

Jammu, Jan 19: Dharmarth Trust employees, who are in protest for the last 50 days at Chain hunger strike for the last 23 days at Ranbirashwar Temple, on Tuesday took out a protest march to Gharao Secretariat.
The protesters led by Vivek Bandral, President, Dharmarth Trust Employees Association assembled at Indira Chowk and took out a protest rally amidst anti- Dharmarth Trust management and government slogans towards the secretariat which was foiled by the police personnel.
After that the agitated employees marched towards Hari Market, Raghunath Bazar and City Chowk and protested before Raghunath Mandir and City Chowk and in front of Head office of Dharmarth Trust.
While addressing the agitating employees, Vivek Bandral stated that the government and Trust Management has given only fake assurances single.
Refuting the baseless allegation against Pandits and employees by Dharmarth Trust management, Vivek Bandral asked Trust management to clear their stand on the selling of thousand kanals of land in Kashmir Valley belonging to different temples to non-Hindu community persons by way off underhand deals and dishonest manner.
“That trust management sold about 600 kanals land of Dharmarth situated at Village Nandani called as Nandani Sarin about Rs 25 crore and case also booked by vigilance Department, “ she said and asked Trust management to come clear on the same.
She added that Dharmarth trust management misused and misappropriated the funds of this public charitable trust for the last 40 years with both hands which need to be investigated.
Employees demanded shrine board for all temples under Dharmarth Trust and CBI enquiry of land scandals by taking underhand deal by the persons having control on Dharmarth trust for the last 60 years.
It has been decided that agitated employees will hold a protest at Meheshpura Chowk at 12 noon tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the persons who sit on hunger strike today include Pt Tilakraj, Kartar Chand, Dinesh Singh, Raj Kumar, Pt Deepak Sharma, Pt Sandeep Sharma, Pintu, Mohan Lal, Neelam Devi and Asha Devi.
Among others present in the protest included Ex-President Kernail Chand Thakur, ex-General Secretary, Pritam Sharma, Working President Rajinder Shastri, Sunit Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Subash, Pt Parshotam, Pt Brijmohan Sharma, Pt Om Parkash, Pt Rampal, Pt Balwant Shastri, Vimal Khajuria, Sat Paul, Pawan, Deepu, Rinku, Makhnu, Jivan, Bushan, Sonali, Renu, Anju, Sheetal, Sonika, Sukeshni, Rita Salathia, Rekha, Harbans Lal, Surjeet Singh, Parshotam Sharma, Ram Paul Sharma, Jagjeet Chand, Sahil Sharma, Pt Babu Bishambar Lal, Reeta Salathia, Raj Kumari, Leela Devi, Sheetal, Rajani, Shobha, Nisha and Sonika.
