JKTF forwards demands memo to Admin Secy School Education Deptt

JAMMU, Jan 19: A high level deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum led by chairman UT of J&K Ganesh Khajuria met BK Singh Administrative Secretary School Education department in his office chamber along with the central body members and submitted a memorandum to draw the attention of secretary towards the long pending demands and issues of the various cadres of the teaching community with the hope for an early redressal.
The memerandum contained demands to allow thestudents to attend school as there is significant improvement in situation arisen during pandemic Covid 19. After successful launch of scheme "Aao School Chalein" in Kashmir division, it must start in Jammu division also to improve the enrollment in Govt. schools after this academic session.
The upgradation of smart infrastructure in Govt. Schools was also demanded by launching E-Smart classes, Smart boards to further strengthen the work culture in schools .
Creation of posts of masters in upgraded Middle Schools under erstwhile SSA Scheme was also demanded where a total 4522 upper Pry. schools were upgraded to middle schools under SSA in year 2008 & the teachers recruited through SSRB and promoted as Masters working in these upgraded middle schools left hanging for want of state Non-Plan .
Ganesh Khajuria strongly demanded to take note of these 4522 Masters & create appropriate number of posts under Non- Plan to settle the issue once for all. Besides, sixteen more demands were put in the memorandum or the consideration of the secretary
The Administrative Secretary School Education gave a patient hearing to the issues in detail mentioned in memorandum and assured the deputation led by Ganesh Khajuria Chairman JKTF to take prompt action to resolve the genuine demands in an effective and time bound manner and put an end to all ambiguities for the betterment of Education Sector and Student community in particular.
