Gurah Mundian continues winning spree

JAMMU, Jan 20: On the 3rd day of District Kathua Premier Volleyball League matches being organised by J&K Sports Council in collaboration of Kathua District Volleyball Association at Volleyball Grounds, Govt High School Gurha Mundian, three matches were played today.
In the first match, Rising star Hiranagar defeated Mela by 3-0,scoring 25-18,25,18,and 25-23. In the second match, favourite volleyball club Gurah Mundian defeated Shaktipunj club Hiranagar by 3-1scoring 25-19, 25-27,25-21 & 25-22.
In the third match, Lower Mela defeated Koota by 3-1 scoring 24-26,25-20,21-25,25-18.
Large number of people of the adjoining villages witnessed the closely contested interesting matches. Prominent among those present were Iqbal Singh manager Sports Stadium alongwith his stadium staff, M L Toofan president Distt Volleyball Association Kathua, Mohinder Sharma General Secretary, Madan Lal Coach, Ram Lal, Om Parkash Khajuria Headmaster (Retd) Kamal Kant (Pantu) and Kama.
