1/21/2021 8:55:17 PM
early times report
JAMMU, Jan 21: Expressing senior concern and hitting out at Dharmarth Trust management and its trustee for locking the office room and also tearing off a flex banner put up in the park, DTEA alleged today.
"We strongly criticized the action of Vikramaditya Singh, who entered in Ranbireshwar Temple at 7:00 PM along with Varinder Singh (Additional Secretary Dharmarth Trust) Gopal Sharma (Secretary Dharmarth Trust) with some anti-social elements and lift the record of employees association from their office and locked the office room and also tore off flex in the park where employees change Yasho Karan Park to Shiv Parvati Brahman Vatika," President Dharmarth Trust Employees Association (DTEA) said in a press conference here on Thursday.
She said it is not acceptable to the association as the association already decided that the name of parks, buildings and markets will be changed from their individual name to God's name as the Dharmarth Trust property is not personal property of any individual which they claimed.
"I filed a complaint at City Police Station to register FIR against culprits who try to disturb our peaceful agitation," she said and asked the State Government and Lt Governor to intervene in the matter.
She also appealed to LG to constitute a public board for all the temples under Dharmarth Trust for proper development of temples and proper accountability of funds and frame strict laws to protect the temples properties to safeguard the temples.
She further demanding from Lt Governor to clear the stand on promise made by him with employees representative on January 10, 2021.
Chief Spokesperson DTEA, Th Karnail Chand asked the administration to stop such type of action otherwise there will be law and order problems for which the government and Dharmarth Trust management will be responsible.
Manish Sahni, J&K President of Shiv Sena along with other members also criticized the action of Vikramditya Singh, son of Dr Karan Singh. He urged the Lt Governor to intervene in the matter and constitute a public board for the temples under Dharmarth Trust without any delay otherwise Shiv Sena will also join the agitation of employees.
Meanwhile those who sit on hunger strike today include Bimla Devi, Poli Devi, Balwant Raj, Ashok Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Pankaj Sharma, Subash Singh, Sohan Singh, Jagdesh Singh and Balbir Singh.
