New team of JCCI office bearers assumes charge

JAMMU, Jan 21: In a simple but impressive gathering the new team of office bearers of Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) took over the charge of the office.
A large number of members of JCCI visited Chamber house to greet and convey their best wishes to the newly elected team including Arun Gupta, President, Anil Gupta, Sr. Vice President, Rajeev Gupta, Jr. Vice President, Gaurav Gupta, Secretary General, Rajesh Gupta, Secretary and. Rajesh Gupta, Treasurer.
At the outset Arun Gupta on behalf of newly elected team thanked Suresh Sharma, Receiver for conducting free, fair and smooth elections of the office bearers of JCCI. While speaking on the occasion Arun Gupta said that due to shortage of time we could not invite our members. He further reiterated that everybody whether he is member of JCCI or not will get due respect in Chamber House.
Arun Gupta further said that among other issues our priorities will be to solve the problems of Trade and Industry. Gupta also said that we are aware about the problems being faced by the members regarding GST because of 2G network and tourism sector has suffered a lot due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will try our best to get these problems solved at the earliest.
Arun Gupta also requested the government to complete the pending developmental projects including Artificial Lake on River Tawi, Parking at General Bus Stand etc.
In the end, Arun Gupta said that we will work jointly with the representatives of Industrial Associations to boost the Industrial sector in our region.
