| GDC Vijaypur organizes National level E-Quiz Competition | | |

Vijaypur , Jan 22: Road crashes are the biggest killer of young people worldwide which calls for creating awareness in preventing road causalities and enabling children, families and everyone to use roads without being endangered. With this intend ,Govt Degree College Vijaypur organized an e-quiz competition on Road Safety Awareness amongst the students to educate and aware them about the dangers on the road as knowledge about traffic signs and signals can make a huge difference thereby preventing deaths and injuries in road accidents and safe guarding the lives of humans.
A large number of students participated in the quiz competition with great zeal, zest and fervour. The first position was shared by Sanjeev, Suraj and Manreen Kour of GDC Vijaypur and Varun of SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu. The Second Position was shared by Shuvam Mankotia of GDC Billawar; Shivani Sangral of GDC Samba ,Arun Ramotra and Parul Sharma of GDC Vijaypur. The third position was secured by Shabnam Bano of GDC Billawar. The quiz competition was organized under the able guidance of Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, Principal of the College. who appreciated the initiative taken by faculty to raise awareness among the masses about road safety norms and knowledge of traffic signs as these are an absolute necessity in today’s time. The event was coordinated by Dr. Kuldeep Singh and other committee members to shape and aware the young minds through this competitions. E-certificate were awarded to all the winners. |
