Online Workshop on Advanced Data Analysis Concludes at JU

Jammu, Jan 22- A “One Week Online Workshop on AdvancedResearch Methodology (Advanced Data Analysis)” organized by the UGC-HRDC on online mode in collaboration with PG Department of Commerce, the University of Jammu from 18thto 22nd of January, 2021 concluded today. Prof Hardeep Chahal was the Workshop Coordinator while Dr Jeevan Jyoto was the Workshop-Coordinator. The workshop was attended by 58 participants from varied colleges and universities from states and UT like Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Haryana,Punjab, Puducherry, Delhi, Chandigarh, JK etc. The workshop comprised of fifteen sessions on advanced data techniques comprising Conjoint Analysis, Descriminant Analysis, Scale Development, EFA, CFA, SEM ( PLS), Moderation and Mediation and Quality Research Publicationsby the resource persons from reputed institutes across India.External resource persons included Dr Shankar, CARES, Dr Saurabh Aggarwal Trainer and Data Analyst; Dr Vikas Arya, Rajlakshmi School of Business, Chennai, Dr Sandeep Singh, Punjab University, Dr Atul Siva, Chandigarh Universityand Prof Manoj Kumar, IIM Jammu. Prof. Hardeep Chahal welcomed and introduced Dr. Atul Shiva, and Prof Manoj Kumar, resource persons on the last day’s sessions.
Dr. Atul Shiva (Asst. Professor in Management, Chandigarh University) chaired the 1st and 2nd Session while Prof Manoj Kumar, IIM Jammu took the concluding session. Dr Atul spoke on Structural Equation Model AssessmentsProf Manoj also delved on the significance of publication in the faculty progression, theoretical and research contribution to the literature. This session was very interesting, engrossing and interactive. Dr Jeevan Jyoti thanked the resource persons participants and HRDC in making this workshop concluded successfully.
