| Domana Police solves murder case, accused arrested | | |

JAMMU, Jan 22: Domana Police solving a blind murder case within 24 hours of the crime has arrested accused person.
According to a Police spokesperson yesterday (January 21), a complaint was received from Ram Paul son of Ayodha Parkesh resident of Gole that one dead body was lying in his property. A Police team reached on the spot and called a team of FSL and conducted crime photography and videography of the scene of crime. "On this, case FIR No. 20/2021 u/s 302 IPC got registered at Police Station Domana. After this police party of Police Station Domana led by in charge Police Post Pounichak Insp Mukhtiyar Ali rounded up possible suspects out of which one namely Gyan Dass son of Vishnu Dass resident of Chattisgarh after sustained questioning he confessed his crime", the spokesperson said and added that the victim has been identified as Ramesh Yadav son of Barika Parsad resident of Chattisgarh. "During further course of investigation the accused revealed that he entered the jhuggi of Ram Paul and they indulged in scuffle, the reason for their spat was old enmity related to money matters and the accused with the malafide intention brought the deceased to his slum (juggi). |
