DC Rajouri constitutes committees for 100% registration under SEHAT, RDD schemes

RAJOURI, Jan 23: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh Kumar Shavan today convened a meeting of Department of Agriculture, Health and RDD to review the status of implementation of the centrally sponsored schemes being implemented by these departments.
The centrally sponsored schemes discussed in the meeting included the Pardhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat/ Sehat Schemes and schemes implemented by the Agriculture Department.
While reviewing the progress regarding the registration of Beneficiaries under the said schemes, the Deputy Commissioner said the services of the Raber-e Ziraat would be utilized in the process of registration of beneficiaries. The decision to utilize the services of REZ has been taken after the district Coordinator CSC raised the issue of shortage of manpower. The meeting also proposed to utilize the services of Home guards and NYK volunteers for achieving the desired results.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the District Coordinator Common Service centres to create the IDS of the officials so that the left-out beneficiaries could be registered on the portal at the earliest.
The District Informatics Officer NIC and District Coordinator CSC were directed to submit a daily report about the registration of the beneficiaries.
Similarly, the Deputy Commissioner passed directions to the Assistant Commissioner Development to carry out the resurvey of left out beneficiaries under PMAY village wise. The Block Development Officers were directed to ensure timely payment of the wages under MGNREGA.
It was also decided in the meeting that first hand contact committees should be constituted at village level. The purpose of the creation of first-hand committees is to redress the grievances and to get first-hand appraisal of any lapse in the implementation of the scheme at village level.
The Deputy Commissioner exhorted upon the officers/officials to work in close coordination so that the benefits of centrally Sponsored schemes reach the last man in the queue.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Khurshid Ahmed; Chief Medical Officer, Dr Shamim un Nissa Bhatti; Chief Agriculture Officer, Mahesh Verma; Assistant Commissioner Development, Sushil Khajuria; District Panchayat Officer, Chandrakant Bhagat; District Informatics Officer, Muzaffer Hussain Mir; District Information Officer, Narinder Kumar; Additional DIO, Ashwani Sharma; District Coordinator NYK, Nitin Hangloo, District Coordinator CSC, Block Development Officers and REZ of agriculture department.
