Pertinently, Finance department had announced that the centre will be providing an additional 2 per cent borrowing for their projected GSDP, linked with implementation of certain reforms as a part of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Commissioner Secretary had a detailed review of implementation of Business Reform Action Plan for which deadline has been set for 31st January 2021. He directed the department for implementation of Central Inspection System, which will restrict compliance inspections of various departments to be done at once. He viewed a detailed presentation on online implementation of District Level Business Reform Action Plan.
It was informed that a total of 45 district level services need to be made online for facilitating business approvals required at district level.
Meanwhile, Dwivedi met a delegation of industrialists which called on him under the aegis of Laghu Udyog Bharti led by its President, Parveen Pargal, at Industrial Estate Digiana.
Pargal expressed gratitude to the government for announcing a very lucrative Industrial Package for Jammu and Kashmir.
Rajesh Jain of Laghu Udyog Bharati requested that after completion of period of 10 years of exemption of GST available under various SROs issued after switching over to GST regime, the units should automatically be migrated to benefits of SGST reimbursement under the relevant SRO. He pitched for continuation of Purchase/Price Preference for Local MSEs and sought grant of ownership rights of leased land in favour of the promoters.
