Shah Faesal praises Centre, hails vaccination programme !
1/23/2021 11:44:25 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
jammu, Jan 23: Months after quitting politics, founder of the Jammu Kashmir Peoples' Movement (JKPM), Shah Faesal has lavished all praise on the Union Government's vaccination programme.
Praising the Union Government's programme is considered as the ground of civil services topper to rejoin government service because his resignation has yet not been accepted by the Centre.
"This is more than just a vaccination program. It's good governance + human capital formation + nation building + India assuming global leadership as a Jagat Guru", Shah Faesal tweeted while reacting to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi's tweet in which the PM has tweeted, "Interacting with COVID-19 vaccination beneficiaries in Kashi.".
At a time when opposition parties are raising doubt about the vaccination programme launched by the Union Government, Faesal's praise to this programme has raised many eye-brows.
After announcing his decision to quit politics on August 10, 2020, Shah Faesal has virtually become inactive on social media. He has gone into hibernation, though his party is one of the constituents of the Peoples' Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD). On August 10, 2020, former IAS officer-turned politician Shah Faesal had announced to quit politics.
Shah Faesal had launched the political party JKPM in March 2019 after quitting government service in January same year.
The Union Government has not accepted his resignation yet and there is every likelihood of Faesal re-joining the administration.
It is interesting to note that even after submitting his resignation and forming a political front, his name was not removed from the list of IAS officers in J&K.
He had topped the 2010 civil services exam and was made a part of the J&K cadre of the IAS.
In 2018, he took a sabbatical of one year to go for studies to Harvard in the US. Soon after coming back, he decided to form a political party of his own.
