Cong MP’s remark on BJP siphoning Ram Mandir funds unacceptable: Kavinder | | | earLY tIMES rEPORT
Jammu, Feb 2: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta today condemned Kantilal Bhuria, Congress MP from Madhya Pradesh's Jhabua over his alleged remark that BJP leaders are spending funds collected for Ayodhya Ram Mandir to consume liquor. In a statement issued here, the BJP senior leader said that Congress is stooping so low out of frustration emanating due to consecutive poll debacles that it can go to any extent. He however said that speaking against those having undaunted faith in Lord Rama will take the Congress party to nowhere. He said that Congress playing cheap politics by defaming Lord Rama's devotees is unacceptable and the party will have to pay a big price for spreading such unprincipled and concocted stories. He said the collection of funds for Ram Temple in Ayodhya is a pious deed and those involved in the endeavour hold special place in the hearts of crores of devotees of Lord Rama. “Doubting their credibility is the greatest sin”, he added. The former Deputy Chief Minister also slammed Punjab’s Finance Minister Manpreet Badal for demeaning BSF alleging that the security force is harassing those farmers having their fields along the border with Pakistan. He said that Congress’ Punjab Minister praising Pakistan for better border management speaks a lot about Congress’ affinity towards rogue nation. He made it clear that Congress is like a sinking ship and its leadership has turned rudderless and therefore making statements out of their whims and fancies exposing again and again that their party is a spent force and on the verge of extinction.
