Budget 2021: Vision for Atamnirvar Bharat

Finance minister Nirmal sitaraman has announced the union budget for 2021 . ,the very first budget of new decade.After the corona pandemic, it is a new budget for new India. As we know due to covid pandemic our economy is already facing the problem of recession and slowdown. This new budget will definitely give a boost to our trembling economy. Because lot of emphasis has been laid on agriculture and infrastructure in this budget. Government has tried to give lot of comfort to entrepreneurs and farmers through this integrated budget.In this budget a special focuss has given to health sectors. For mega corona vaccination drive there is allocation of 35 thousands of crores .moreover it is aimed to design 75 thousands new wellness centres across the country in rural areas. This will really improve the infrastructure and health facilities in different Corners of the country. An estimated 64,180 crores has been allocated for Atamnirvar health sectors, which is a very laudable and admirable initiative. There is an outlay of about 2.23 lakh crore for health and well being. Government is continuously focussing on his agenda of Atamnirvar Bharat and this new initiative in health sector will definitely helps in achieving the desired target of Atamnirvar Bharat.in agriculture sector special attention was given to increase the income of farmers. Govt is continuously working on his agenda of doubling the income of farmers by 2022.However, various farmers association are still on their agitations for their demands and issues.Even the prime minister sh Narinder Modi has narrated that this budget depicts the vision of Atamnirvar Bharat.How this budget is special for all sectors, it is reflected from the hike in the share market .In a single day sensex jumped above the 2300 points .there is no change in the direct taxes.
There is no change in the existing tax slab for the financial year 2021 in this budget.there is also relief and exemption for tax for aged people above 75 years. It is a very praiseworthy initiative, as this age group of people mostly in need of some extra money for their medicines and other life saving facilities. Nirmal sitaraman has said that our focus is on the development of all sectors and giving benefits to all age groups of people and class.she further asserted that this new budget would not put the burden on any class and section of society.
For education sector there is great allocations of funds for different types of scholarships for schedule caste students hundred new sainik schools will be created across the country. There is declaration of a central university at leh. There is an urgent necessity to establish this University at such an inaccessible region of Jammu and Kashmir. Mostly students suffered at lot for their higher studies due to unavailability of such a prestigious institution.Now they can get the benefits of such kind of higher education institutions at there doorstep. In this budget finance minister has touched the every field in a very synchronised way. Basically the motive of the government is to give the benefit to every downtrodden and neglected section.The basic theme of this year budget generally focus around economic recovery, growth and covid pandemic. This budget will definitely give a boost to job creation and employment generation in the country.
Sensex breaches 50 thousands marks after budget announcement depicts that market is feeling satisfied with the declaration of new initiative of the government. In recent days government will announce his new policy on education. Rupees 99,300 have allocated for education sector. Especially focuss of the government is on skill development and vocational education.moreover an announcement of maiden gas pipeline project is a very praiseworthy initiative by the government in this budget.Even the lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha thanked the finance minister for this historic announcement. He also asserted that it is an inclusive and growth orientated budget. However many opposition parties has remarked that it is a direction less and vision less budget with no comfort for middle class. They also claimed that it is not farmers friendly budget.But this is a rote statement of every opposition party like every time. Truth is that this budget has created a new confidence in the minds of people. No doubt the aspirations and expectations of people are many. Due to covid pandemic and lockdown like situation entire nation has suffered a lot. This new and well balanced budget will definitely give a healing touch to our economy. This balance budget will create a new energy in the country’s economy.Even the various prominent economists and industrialists has welcomed this new budget.Many economists have welcomed the decision of government of increase in FDI limit to 74 %in insurance sector. At present we are dreaming for 5 trillion economy status in the world. This new budget will be a good step to make that dream come true.
