Jammu, Feb 12: The Department of Youth Services and Sports office Kathua organized Inter District State Level Competition in the discipline of Kabaddi under the age group U/17 years boys with effect from 11-02-2021 to 14-02-2021 at Shivalik Resort’s ground Dayalachack under the direction of Director General Youth Services and Sports J&K, UT Saleem-Ur-Rehman.
The chief guest Ramnish Gupta, Assistant S.S.P Kathua opened the tournament in the presence of Mool Raj Assistant Director Youth Services and Sports J&K, UT, Sachit Mahajan, DSP Border Area Kathua and Sunil Kumar, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kathua (Chairman) along with Nasib Chand, PEM, DYSSO Kathua (Organizer Secretary), Joginder Kumar, PEM, DYSSO Kathua (Assistant Organizer Secretary), Mohan Lal Dub, PEM, DYSSO Kathua(Assistant Organizer Secretary), Yog Raj ZPEO Hiranager, Sukesh Kumar ZPEO Mallahar, Pardeep Singh ZPEO Lakhanpur,
Total 217 players of 17 districts participated in this competition with full of energy and enthusiasm. Opening match played between district Samba and District Gandarbal which was won by District Samba by 17 points
District Srinagar won by 27 points, district Udhampur won by 28 points, District Kathua won by 15 points.
